Open Science Game Nights - Valentine's & Data Love Edition 💘 In-Person
Looking for a fun and interactive way to explore Open Science? Join us for the Open Science Meetups - Valentine's Day & Data Love Edition! This informal gathering is designed for researchers, PhD candidates, and support staff to connect, share ideas, and dive into Open Science practices—through games!
Open Science is often perceived as complex, serious, and yet another task on an already long to-do list. But it doesn’t have to be that way! The GHOST collective, a cross-institutional group of Open Science advocates, has taken a different approach - gamification - to make learning Open Science principles engaging and enjoyable.
For the past five years, GHOST has organized game-based learning experiences during Data Horror Week around Halloween. Now, we’re bringing the love for data into focus with this special Valentine’s Day edition. Whether you’re an Open Science enthusiast or just starting to explore the topic, this meetup is for you.
